To put it simply, the new Honda Accord is full of groundbreaking features that will make every drive of yours truly exceptional. This front-wheel drive Accord is one of the top selling cars in the United States. The 2013 model has been redesigned with new engine, new features and new styling.
The entry level of the 2013 Accord comes equipped with the basic features plus cruise control, height adjustable driver seat, power mirrors, locks and windows with remote, Pandora Internet Radio, folding rear seat, interior air filter, telescopic steering wheel, USB port and aux jack and a rearview camera. The sport model has some sporty touches like the 18 inch wheels, fog lights, dual exhaust, steering wheel paddle shifters, leather wrapped steering wheel and a rear spoiler. The EX trim level has some additional features like power sunroof, heated power mirrors, 17 inch wheels, keyless entry and starting and the Lane Watch feature. The Lane Watch features a rear facing camera that is mounted in the rearview mirror of the passenger’s side and it is used to transmit a wider angle view of that blind spot on the driver’s right side. Engine and fuel economy
The Accord offers 2 engines. There is the all new 4 cylinder, 2.4 liter engine that produces 185 hp; and an updated 3.5 liter V6 engine that is capable of producing 278 hp. The 4 cylinder Accord offers CVT (continuously variable transmission) or a six speed manual transmission, while the V6 Accord comes only with a six speed automatic transmission. All models feature front wheel drive. Regular grade gas is required for both engines.
You will find all expected safety features as standard features on the Accord. The anti-lock brakes increase the ability of the vehicle to turn while braking. The stability control prevents the driver from losing the vehicle’s control. It senses when the handling limits of the vehicle have been exceeded and it automatically applies select brakes or reduces the power of the engine. The vehicle also features front impact airbags, side impact airbags and overhead airbags. The pretensioners on the seatbelt are used to tighten the seatbelts automatically in order to create the optimal seating position of the occupant in case of a collision. The vehicle also features a security system that prevents an engine start when the original key is not being used. There are some new safety features for 2013, which include forward collision warning, lane departure warning and Lane Watch camera.
