C’mon 2013 Honda
It Seems Like The 2013 Civic Type R Might Be The Only Honda Worth Looking At This Year
Updated September 1, 2018
Where are you 2013 Honda?
I have been a fan of Honda for all of my life because they are bulletproof and you simply drive them till the driver’s seat rusts out or because so many body secretions make their way into the fabric seats that the EPA quarantines your car as it was considered a bio-hazard. Personally I have owned three Honda’s and all were great vehicles although one had an overheating gremlin that we couldn’t figure out so we just drove it with the temp gauge maxed for years and it still ran great; and then I sold it for a $1 to my brother and he drove it around forever before selling it for $1200 dollars.
One of my other Honda’s was a 2001 Prelude SH and I loved that car as it was a blast to drive everyday on my curvy road commute, that was until an old woman decided to pull out in front of me whilst I was doing 50 mph. The car I hit was a Titanic 79’ Lincoln and I hit her front axle and my car being a tin can did a great job of protecting me. It punched me in the face with the airbag so I would be knocked out and feel nothing, perfect!
2013 Honda, Never Thought I Would Compare Ford To Them
Today we see 2013 Honda cars losing some sales to competitors that are offering better fuel economy, better powertrain warranty, more technology, or better convenience coverage warranty. Some customers are simply turning their nose up at Honda because of their dated or bland styling. I like the looks of some of the 2013 Honda lineup but not many. The 2013 Honda Fit is a good looking commuter but the 2013 Ford Fiesta gets 40 MPG Hwy whereas the 2013 Fit gets 35 MPG Hwy. Next, the 2013 Honda HF gets 41 MPG’s but costs $1,200 more than the 2013 Ford Focus SFE that gets 40 MPG Hwy. The 2013 Honda Ridgeline is a concept that I love as it is a solid truck with an independent suspension but if you look at 2013 Ford F-150 Ecoboost you get a truck with 360HP instead of the Ridgelines 250HP and they get identical gas mileage.
2013 Honda Thoughts
I‘m not saying that Ford is better than the 2013 Honda lineup but what I am showing is that the lineup of competitive vehicles are growing against Honda and it’s not just Ford it is the entire auto industry. The only new news of Honda is a little work done to the 2013 Accord and that a 2013 Honda Fit EV will be available and hopefully able to outdo the 2013 Focus EV in mileage and be lower in price. I want Honda to be a top seller and though the 2013 Civic Type R sales will be strong I just want to know how long before we see these great engine builders knock our socks off. Tell us what you think of the 2013 Honda lineup and what you would do if you were in Honda’s shoes.
