2015 Ford Mustang, Changes are Coming.
Updated October 10, 2012
As Ford continues to strike fear in many of its competitors, many of the diehard Ford Mustang fans are in a state of shock with the new look to the 2015 Ford Mustang. A sleek noise and tight lines makes the new Mustang either a show stopper or a laughing stock depending on who you speak with.
The baby boom generation might turn their nose up at the idea of moving away from the more common boxy design of both the old classic Mustangs and the new models that have come out over the years, to a more racing style approach. The Gen X crowd might be the target audience for the new style. But rumors still swirl about the full independent suspension, a possible 420HP 5.0 V8 and a more stable solid rear axle. These changes might seem simplistic, but for Ford and how they want to handle the future of their product line, these changes mean opportunity.
The 2015 Ford Mustang will sport the 50th anniversary for the carline. A testament to ability and staying power, Ford will be borrowing from the new Evo designs when it comes to the new Mustang. While there is still no pure proof out there, we all can sit back and wonder what direction Ford decides to take the 2015 Mustang. But know this, for a 50th anniversary car, expect the changes to be sharp and eye catching. From the outside to the inside, Ford plans on taking to the streets with their new design and concept.
Some designs that have floated around the web have shown everything from a revert and going back to the boxy design, to keeping the nose the same and puffing out the back of the 2015 Ford Mustang. Others feel that there will be no real changes to the car at all. Which would be hard to expect as the 50th anniversary for anything is a big deal, so thinking that Ford would let that slip by seems foolish.
Some of the biggest changes might be the ones we do not see every day. The ones under the hood, where a bigger power plant is put in place giving the Mustang a true sports car feel. Odds are good we will all find out when April 17th comes rolling around, as that is the 50th anniversary for the Mustang. Reports have it that the 2015 prototypes are being sported around now and being pushed through their paces, we will all start seeing the photos soon. While these photos might not prove anything, they might give us a better idea with what improvements and changes are headed our way.
Now if the Pony express can pick up a stronger engine and a better rear suspension, then everyone from young to old will love driving one around. An Independent Rear Suspension will really help with nice tight turns and better response when driving. The 2015 Ford Mustang is going to be a mystery until it comes out, but we still are all waiting to see it, then we will pick it apart.
