2017 Camaro ZL1 Widebody Rendering
Published March 30, 2016
This rendering takes the 2017 Camaro ZL1 to a whole new widebody level similar to other renderings by Javier Oquendo Design in the past. This is no surprise, due to the fact that the sixth-generation Camaro SS is getting tremendously popularity in the tuning world. The ZL1 will hit the streets next spring and numerous tuners probably already have this 600 horsepower plus Camaro on their list of things to do, making this rendering, or something similar very possible.
The 2017 ZL1 will have 640 horsepower off the showroom floor verses 455 horsepower from the 2016 Camaro SS. Tuners went crazy with the 2016 SS adding nitrous and twin turbos to get it to approximately 700 horsepower. The ZL1 Camaro is already being referred to as a Corvette with a backseat without any modifications.
The 2017 ZL1 Camaro is a dream come true for the aftermarket performance world and the possibilities are endless. Something similar to to rendering could very well happen in the near future. This rendering from Javier Oquendo Design is very extreme, but widebody tuners will definitely pay attention to it in their future designs and modifications.
It will be interesting to see what tuners do with the 2017 ZL1 Camaro in the near future and new horsepower records, suspension modifications, and some extended fender options may be in its future.
