Chevrolet introduced the all-new Cruze Hatch at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The Hatch is a compact hatchback built on the same platform as the Cruze Sedan that was all-new for 2016. The Hatch offers a unique alternative to the sedan model that is sportier and accommodates an increased cargo capability. Several trim levels will be offered with a wide variety of options to accommodate personal preferences and the preferred budget as well.

The Cruze Hatch incorporates several features that are normally reserved for mid-sized sedans. The standard and available features are very impressive for an automobile in this category. The technology, safety, and comfort level of the Hatch is not normally available in the compact hatchback arena.

Standard Features:

– 1.4-liter Turbo direct injection power plant
– Start/Stop Technology
– Electronic Power Steering
– Lane Keep Assist
– Rear Cross Traffic Alert
– Rear Park Assist
– Side Blind Zone Alert
– MyLink Audio System
— Bluetooth Capable
— Apple/Android Compatible

Available Features:

– Teen Driver Monitoring
– 4G LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot
– Heated Steering Wheel
– Heated Front/Rear Seating
– Leather-appointed Seating
– LED Signature Lighting

The available cargo space with the rear seat in the vertical position is 22.7 cubic feet. This space can be expanded to 47.2 cubic feet by placing the rear seats in the horizontal position.

The Cruze Hatch lineup is available in several different trim levels that include the L, LS, LT, RS, and the Premier. The RS is the sport model that features unique front and rear fascias, a rear spoiler, custom rocker panels, and fog/driving lights. The premier model incorporates a very high trim level that showcases 18 inch wheels.

The 2017 Chevrolet Cruze Hatch will be available this fall with a starting price of approximately $23,000. The MSRP has not been officially announced as of yet.

About Calvin Escobar

The Car scene is so diverse Where I come from, most enthusiasts recognize the amazing engineering (particularly the engines). The bulk of the ridicule originates from the manner in which many of the vehicles are modded/maintained. Thus, the jokes and or hate tends to be aimed more at the owner rather than the machine. All of which makes seeing properly sorted old Toyota's and Hondas at car meets, auto shows, and track days all the more refreshing.

At Autowise, we envision ourselves as not just a automobile blog or an automobile news website, instead we see our website as a platform to connect all automobile enthusiast and provide them with all the information they need.
