Aprilia 2017: Pricing And Availability For the RSV4 And Tuono
Full Details On The 2017 Aprilia RSV4 Price, Specs & Availability
Updated August 19, 2018
Aprilia has announced their prices and availability for their RSV4 and Tuono models. After unveiling their 2017 bikes for the US market at the Chicago International Motorcycle Show last weekend to a rapt audience, we’ve now got the all-important prices to take a look at. Aprilia had their work cut out for them for the 2017 RSV4s thanks to the implementation of the strict Euro4 emissions laws, but they’ve managed to deliver a range topping platform with all the trimmings you’d expect from a race-driven performance bike, without too many compromises.
The 2017 RSV4 comes in two flavors: the 2017 Aprilia RSV4 RF and the 2017 Aprilia RSV4 RR. Both of them are fantastic options for those who like unparalleled power delivery, race-bred technology, stunning aesthetics, and a touch of European exotica. First up, let’s look at the RSV4 RF.
2017 Aprilia RSV4 Price
The 2017 Aprila RSV4 RF boasts a brand new suspension system from Ohlins with upgraded spring and hydraulic preload, an upgraded steering damper, and a more sophisticated braking system from last year’s edition. The brakes are powered by Brembo M50 calipers that grip to 5 mm steel discs – the discs are now 330 mm units, a shade bigger than last years. If you’re tempted by this model, you’ll be pleased to know that it’s offered in the stunning Superpole paint scheme. Available from March 2017, the MSRP is set at $22,999.
Now for the race replica…The RSV4 RR shares a lot of the technology that you’d expect to be exclusive to the more advanced factory model, but even though it’s got a cheaper price tag, it has a few surprising extras. While the engine, brakes and electronics are the same as the RF, the RR comes with magnesium accoutrements like the housings, head covers and the oil sump, and a slightly adjusted chassis for a more race friendly, track-orientated experience. Available from March 2017, and with two color options (Grigio Bucine or Nero Ascari) with an MSRP of $16,999.
Both models comes with traction control, wheelie control, launch control, an up and down quickshifter, a pit lane limiter, cruise control, and cornering ABS as standard equipment.
2017 Aprilia Tuono Price
Next up, we’ve got the awesome naked 2017 Aprilia Tuono V4 models. We don’t need to tell you how great the Tuono packages are – fast, reliable, practical, and fun – so we won’t go into too much detail. However, we will say this: if you want something that can fly on the track but still cut it as a practical, day to day, bike for the road, then the Tuono 1100 is definitely worth considering. Both the 2017 Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory and Tuono V4 1100 RR boast cruise control, cornering ABS, a quickshifter, and a cool TFT display as standard equipment…
The 2017 Tuono V4 1100 Factory will be priced at a rather respectable $17,499. It’s not a bad price considering that this model is the more exclusive of the two Tuonos on offer, and its price is completely justified. It has the full suite of riding aids mentioned above, and on top of that it comes with Ohlins NIX suspension. The graphics have been updated, and it will be available in its Superpole livery from March 2017.
Finally, Aprilia have the 2017 Tuono V4 RR. The updates included for this awesome ride include a revised braking system that brings it into line with the RSV4’s new system, complete with Brembo calipers. You can have your version of the RR in either Grigio Portimao or Nero Assen. Available from March 2017 onwards, with an MSRP of $14,999.
