Are You In The Market For A Lamborghini Sesto Elemento? It’s Just A Cool $3 Million
Updated February 7, 2017
It isn’t often that a Lamborghini Sesto Elemento comes for sale. In fact this may be the first time that one has been made available since the extremely limited edition Italian stallion rolled out of production. Only 20 were produced, of which exactly none of them is street legal.
The Sesto Elemento, literally translated as “sixth element” is extraordinarily lightweight at only 2,202 lbs. Its name refers to the primary ingredient in its frame structure, body panels, suspension–even the driveshaft! All of them made of carbon fiber.
It’s powered by the same 5.2 liter V10 as the Gallardo producing 570 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. That means it goes like stink on the track, which is the only place it belongs. It puts that power to the road by means of a six speed manual transmission with paddle shifters linked to an all wheel drive system.
Where is it for sale? Can you take it for a test drive? Is the price negotiable? All questions you’ll have to ask for yourself if you can prove you’ve got the dough to be a serious buyer. Originally retailed for $2.2 to $2.9 million, this Sesto has an asking price of $3 million.
Chump change, right?
