Arizona Dildo Traffic Cameras Have Residents Vibrating

These Arizona Traffic Cameras Look More Like Dildos Than Cactai

It’s become commonplace among local governments across the United States: hidden traffic cameras. Paradise Valley is one of the most recent communities to adopt the hidden traffic cameras. They’ve also hidden the cameras in an object quite phallic in appearance.

Residents will know anytime they are driving by a huge green dildo mounted at the side of the road, they should slow down.  The massive members stick out like a teen boy in a girls change room. Called “cact-eyes”, they are meant to replicate cacti that one may see locally in Paradise Valley..  However, not all local cacti look like big green penises.

The Arizona traffic camera erections came at a cost of $2 million, and were a project residents were unaware of.  City officials wanted to keep the structures “aesthetically pleasing” to house the cameras. In addition to catching premature accelerators on film, the cameras will scan licence plates to against a database of stolen cars, Amber Alert subject vehicles, and other offences.

It’s another example of The Man trying to stick it to you.

The Car scene is so diverse Where I come from, most enthusiasts recognize the amazing engineering (particularly the engines). The bulk of the ridicule originates from the manner in which many of the vehicles are modded/maintained. Thus, the jokes and or hate tends to be aimed more at the owner rather than the machine. All of which makes seeing properly sorted old Toyota's and Hondas at car meets, auto shows, and track days all the more refreshing.
