Beijing Autos forthcoming D280 sedan, aka the C70G, which is underpinned by Saabs 9-3 technology will be priced from 165,800RMB (26,000USD) for the base 1.8T model which is very competitive and clearly aimed at government procurement lists. Three engines are on offer, 1.8T, 2.0T and 2.3T with the top of the line 2.3T expected to be in the 235,800RMB ($37,000USD) area when launched.

A launch date hasnt yet been announced but we do know that the model will be sold under the ShenBao name. Beijing Autos next goal will be to extend the Shenbao dealership network, so far the network is relatively small and clearly needs to expand considerably to sell more if its Bei-aabs.
