BMW X5 Generates 700 HP After Manhart Modifications

Prior to the Manhart Tuning modifications the BMW X5 M SUV is normally equipped with a 4.4 Liter twin turbo that is rated at 575 horsepower and they increased it to 700 HP. The modified version of BMW X5 M has been signified as the Manhart MHX5 700. Several configurations were modified to achieve the increased performance level that included a high-performance tuned exhaust system and a completely upgraded engine control tuning software configuration.
Several enhancements were made to the exterior and suspension to adapt to the increase in horsepower and enhance the overall representation as well. Manhart lowered the the body by 35 millimeters by installing H&R lowering springs to make it hug the road. They added 22 inch BBS customized wheels in conjunction with low-profile Vredestein performance tires to further enhance the new appearance. Of course; the Manhart name was incorporated in several locations on the exterior of the SUV to represent the brand.
The brand is continued into the interior design as well with a Manhart steering wheel emblem and other enhancements. An optional Awron digital performance display is also incorporated to provide a constant status of the power plant. The display provides boost pressure levels and other pertinent information that keeps the operator well informed at all times.
Overall; Manhart has been in the tuning business for over 25 years and has established a huge following in the racing arena. This BMW modification is an excellent example of how they can achieve the maximum performance from any motor. They took an already awsome SUV and made it much better performance wise.
