Bugatti announces the date for the much awaited Divo hypercar

Updated December 4, 2018

Every man wishes to own a supercar, and one of the most expensive supercar brand Bugatti has officially confirmed the launch of its new hypercar.

Earlier in the week, The French luxury car brand announced the launch of the limited-edition hypercar called ‘Divo’, a car that is light and nimble with extraordinary handling.

Bugatti also announced that it would manufacture only 40 such cars with each costing US$5.9 million/HK$46 million.

The hypercar ‘Divo’ gets its name from the French Racing Legend Albert Divo who won the Targa Florio race on a mountainous circuit in Sicily as a Bugatti racer not once but twice back in the 1920s.

Commenting on this announcement the President of Bugatti, Stephan Winklemann went on to say, “Happiness is not around the corner. It is the corner.”

Winklemann further added,  “The Divo is made for all the corners of the world. People all over the world should feel the thrill of this dream project.” “Working on this project has given the Bugatti team an opportunity to interpret the brand DNA regarding its agility and nimble handling in an even more highly performance-oriented way.”

The much-awaited Divo will be unveiled by Bugatti at “The Quail – A Motorsports Gathering” which is all set to happen in California on the 24th of August.
