Up Close Look at Rare Bugatti “Hellbug”
This Bugatti Hellbug Isn’t Just A Rare Car – It’s A Rare Bugatti!
Updated September 30, 2018
The Bugatti name is synonymous with rare quality, and it’s hard to top the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse L’Or Rouge “Hellbug.” All it takes is one glance to know it is special with its sleek shape and intricate paint design. There are only two of these distinct models in the world, so those few who have seen it up close and personal are very lucky indeed. Since the likelihood of being one of those fortunate few is so slim, it is fortunate we have video footage of the Hellbug to almost feel close enough to touch it.
The clip begins with this rare Bugatti Hellbug careening at 235.7 mph down Idaho’s Highway 75 (thanks to car spotter DLMphotos), then it shows viewers what this car looks like from virtually every angle. This particular Hellbug and its sole Bugatti counterpart get all of that mind-blowing power from a 1,200-hp 8.0-L quad-turbocharged W16 engine, which is probably more impressive than its stellar looks.
