Camaro ZL1 Runs 9sec On Nitrous After Only 60 Miles On The Streets
It managed to run 9sec on fuel from dealership

Ok, this is seriously awesome.
Brand new Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 made its drag racing debut after cloaking only 60 miles on the odometer. Hell (without the cat), the thing even used original fuel it had from the dealership.
But here is the kicker.
This 60 miles “old” 2018 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 actually run the quarter of a mile one and a half second faster than what a stock car would do. Yes, they tuned it. And by “they” we mean RPM Motorsports of North Carolina, who took the car to the garage straight after it left the showroom floor.
They did not fiddle around.
RPM Motorsports of North Carolina actually did very little to the Camaro ZL1. First of, they managed to integrate full-on drag radials instead of high-performance street tires the ZL1 comes with stock. Usually, GM equips the car with 285/35ZR20 & 305/35ZR20 Goodyear F1 Supercar G2 tires.
Brand New Camaro ZL1 Received A Nitrous System After Leaving The Dealership Floor
Apart from gifting it with better drag race ready tires, RPM Motorsports also installed Nitrous kit. This, of course, dramatically increased power output giving the Camaro ZL1, even more to bargain with than before. We do not have a clue just how much power does it develop with the nitrous shot, but when stock, the 6.2-liter V8 gives out 650hp.
So, with more power and better tires, the 10-speed Camaro ZL1 managed to pull a 9.98-second quarter of a mile time cloaking 140 mph in the process. Stock car, on the other hand, can do 11.4 in a quarter of a mile at 127 mph. A dramatic change in place here.
We cannot wait to see what is next in store for this Camaro which managed to stay stock for only a couple of miles.
