2013 Chevrolet Gears Up For A Big Year
It seems as though Chevrolet is superstitious as they seem to be kind of skipping 2013 and focusing mainly on 2014. We’ve already seen the introduction of the 2014 Chevy Impala although it should be 2013 at most. But Chevrolet looks to be gearing up for a massive 2014 year as they introduce several big names. For 2013, Chevrolet hasn’t exactly produced any massive game changers but as a whole they are showing promise for better exterior designs, better efficiency, and better interiors. Like all the other auto manufacturers for 2013, Chevy is implementing direct injection fuel technology as well as utilizing forced induction from turbos in order to boost horsepower, torque and efficiency. The biggest news for gearheads the fact that the new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette and 2014 Chevrolet Silverado will both be using small block V-8 engines that utilize direct injection as well as a higher compression ratio. So we should see some powerful numbers coming out of the small leader V-8 engines. Next seems that 2013 Chevrolet will be installing up to eight speed automatic transmissions and therefore lowering engine revs across the range to boost fuel efficiency. Here’s the Chevrolet lineup 2013 in all of its glory…

It’s not confirmed but there is a chance that a 2013 Diesel Colorado will be on its way. If Chevy wanted to sell more of their Colorados then it would be a commonsense move to bring over some efficiency diesels that offer gobs of torque as Americans are realizing how beneficial diesels are.
