Citroën 2CV Fourgonnette with a V8 Ferrari Engine Grabs all the Attention at the Lake Como in Italy
Published August 15, 2016
If you were around the Lake Como in Italy this summer, you might have seen a cross between a Citroen 2CV and a Ferrari 355 on the roads. Although it was built in 2009, Citroen 2CV Fourgonnette was an attraction on Italian roads this year as well.
This strange hybrid was made by two friends, who needed a couple of years and a lot of money to assemble it. They used the body of a 12bhp Citroen 2CV Fourgonnette bread-van, but made it extremely powerful by packing a V8 Ferrari engine at the back.
Both the chassis and the engine were taken from Ferrari F355 Berlinetta, making the car extremely fast. Speaking of speed, this hybrid can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in less than 5 seconds, while the maximum speed it can reach is 180 mph. Not bad for a bread van, don’t you agree?
