The Denza, or Chinese Tengshi, concept electric vehicle was seen arriving today in Beijing for the auto show. Denza is the result of partnership of Chinas BYD Auto and Mercedes parent company Daimler to make a brand for electric vehicles.

According to previous reports this car is based on a previous-generation Mercedes B-class.
Design looks very concept-like, with exaggerated features and overall funkiness.

In this partnership, Daimler will enter with their expertise in engineering and management. Meanwhile, BYD will be providing the battery and electrical system technology and their experience with building cars for Chinese roads.
