Dodge Challenger Hellcat X Has Biggest Balls Yet

The Hellcat X Is One Hell Of A Vehicle

Updated October 5, 2018

As if 707 horsepower wasn’t enough.

What would you say if you could be the proud owner of a Dodge Challenger Hellcat X? Mildly interested, I bet. What would you say if it had been upgraded from 707 horses to 805 hot-blooded American stallions? Getting a little warm in the pants now? And what would you say if you could have it for free?

Well, your chance at owning the Hellcat X is only through a draw. 2015 Dream Giveaway Sweepstakes has the car as a main prize. The beastly Dodge retains the factory 6.2-liter HEMI V8 but gets a pair of turbochargers added on to boost the ponies. Not only the horsepower increases; the torque climbs to diesel truck territory with 800 lb-ft. Not too shabby. The front diffuser and the large rear spoiler give you a premonition of what lies under the hood.

It’s being given away along with a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T complete with a 440 c.i. engine. But honestly, which would you prefer? My money is on the Hellcat X.

It’s going to be blazing fast. Like a Cat out of Hell perhaps?

The Car scene is so diverse Where I come from, most enthusiasts recognize the amazing engineering (particularly the engines). The bulk of the ridicule originates from the manner in which many of the vehicles are modded/maintained. Thus, the jokes and or hate tends to be aimed more at the owner rather than the machine. All of which makes seeing properly sorted old Toyota's and Hondas at car meets, auto shows, and track days all the more refreshing.

At Autowise, we envision ourselves as not just a automobile blog or an automobile news website, instead we see our website as a platform to connect all automobile enthusiast and provide them with all the information they need.
