Dodge Viper GTS Driver Loses Control While Trying to Impress the Audience
Updated March 7, 2017
A few days ago we have written about Mustang driver who crashed the stationary car after leaving Cars and Coffee in Chicago. As I articulately explained, the driver had some below-par drifting skills, but some of you called him a dumbass. Either way, this Viper GTS driver probably qualifies for the dumbass moniker as well although his drifting skills aren’t any better. Maybe he just missed his exit and figured it out a little bit late.
As you’ll see in the video below, Phase I second generation Dodge Viper GTS drives in parallel line with our brave, though not very talented cameraman. He then shows his intent by giving a few short throttle bursts and off he goes! Straight to the wall, that is. Come on people – it’s a V10 for chrissakes. You can’t just expect to push the gas pedal to the metal and hit 60 in 3 seconds just like that. You have to give your car some time because you’ll rarely have the perfect conditions at your side. It might have been bad traction with the road, it might have been lower tire pressure, but what’s certain – Viper has bitten, again. Feel free to see it for yourselves. Oh, and be advised that the video has been filmed vertically. I don’t know which of the two is worse – showing off on the highway or using your phone camera in 2008 style.
