The Ducati Panigale C Concept: If Ducati And Lambo Teamed Up!
The Ducati Panigale C Concept Is The Perfect Blend Of Ducati And Lamborghini
Updated August 22, 2018
If Ducati and Lamborghini were ever to team up, we hope their creation would look as sexy as this Ducati Lamborghini Panigale C Concept from Jakusa Design. Since both companies fall under the VAG Group umbrella, some kind of mash up could potentially happen in the future, something akin to the Mercedes-AMG inspired MV Agusta “Solarbeam” F3 that we’ve seen in the past. But for now, we’re going to have to enter the world of make believe, and follow the vision from legendary designer Tamás Jakus.
Jakusa Design’s Lamborghini Panigale C Concept
Taking inspiration from one of the most exclusive supercars of our time, the Lamborghini Centenario LP770-4, Jakus has managed to remodel a Ducati Panigale into something even more beautiful – a feat that many would regard as impossible.
We’ve never seen a bad concept from Jakusa Design, but this one is a cut above the rest. As you can clearly see, Jakus has managed to incorporate plenty of features from the Lamborghini into the overall design, such as the lower gills, the headlight stylings, and the nose in general, not to mention the fantastic Italian inspired stripe and the classic paint job.
While the bodywork and paintwork are certainly derivative of the Centenario, it looks like this Panigale’s performance will be the same as the stock model we already know and love.
Unlike the Centenario LP770-4, the humble Panigale isn’t quite capable of pushing out 770 hp or reach top speeds of 350 km/h with a 6.5 liter V12 engine. But that doesn’t mean we’d turn one down if it was ever offered. However, if something as exclusive as this would ever go into production, you can bet that it would come in a limited edition run, and cost an absolute fortune.
