Fast & Furious Tokyo Drift 1972 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Goes To Auction On eBay

Published October 3, 2016

I went on Ebay just the other day and you won’t believe what I found. The 1972 Chevrolet Monte Carlo from the Fast N Furious movie, ‘Tokyo Drift’ is on sale! This is big! First of all, because it was the leading jump car in the movie. Secondly, Universal isn’t releasing cars to the public anymore. To make it a one of a kind, the creator of this piece of art on wheels, Dennis McCarthy, has signed the hood of the car. He has been the brains behind all the other vehicles in the franchise.

According to the Ebay ad, the car is documented by ‘Universal Studios’. There is also certification available for it. However, it shocked me to see the bid is only at $12,665, and yet there are only 2 days to go to the end of the auction. It must be because people do not know about the listing yet because I refuse to believe they are not interested. I am even thinking of having a go at it myself.

The car is currently in Miami, Florida and therefore an inspection in person must be done to ensure everything checks out.
