Ferrari GTC4Lusso T Novitec Faster and Meaner Than the Ferrari GTC4Lusso Flagship
The Sky is the Limit With the Ferrari V8
Published October 29, 2017
Not many are fans of the looks of the Ferrari GTC4Lusso T – whether in V12 or V8 T form. Now, Novitec, a famed tuning company which has dealt with almost all Ferraris, has made a full-on tuning kit for the car. From new exterior features, wheels, and more power, the GTC4Lusso T is getting a full makeover.
Based on the Ferrari GTC4Lusso T, Novitec’s latest work takes the case of the turbocharged V8 and tunes it from stock 600 hp to an incredible 709 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. That is quite a stretch for a 3.9 liter V8. Yet, the McLaren 720S with a four liter V8 already sells stock with a bit more. We may be headed on a journey to find the real limits of Ferrari’s latest V8 turbo with Novitec as our guide.
New Body-Kit For The Ferrari GTC4Lusso T Novitec
In order to anger the GTC4Lusso T, Novitec reimagined much of its body kit. The hatchback Ferrari received a three-piece body-kit minimizing lift at high speeds. Although new, the body kit seems to be finely incorporated with the rest of the car. In fact, it feels like Novitec did it seamlessly. It’s honestly pretty incredible that someone could confuse this for a car straight off the production line.
Notable additions certainly include a rear diffuser and rear carbon fiber spoiler. Furthermore, the car makes do with awesome wheels. 21-inches at the front and 22-inches at the back finished in black complement the gray finish like peanut butter and jelly. It’s just right.
The wheels – Novitec NF4 high-tech forged pieces – are possibly the most advanced and certainly among the lightest in the world.
Finally, Novitec circled out the cosmetical changes with a comprehensive Alcantara and leather trim in the cabin.
Considering that the GTC4Lusso T is only an RWD machine and that it lacks four cylinders compared with the full-fledged Ferrari V12 model, it is not hard to imagine this powered up model to be actually faster. The Novitec Ferrari GTC4Lusso is lighter than the V12, and judging by the data Novitec provided – it is faster as well. 0-62 mph cracked in 3.2 seconds while the top speed goes above 200 mph. It’s a properly fast Ferrari.
The price is still unknown, but expect a hefty premium over the starting price of the GTC4Lusso T, which is $300,000.
