Foday (Fudi in Chinese) is a small Chinese automaker and parts supplier based in Guangdong province. Their lineup consists of small pickups and SUVs, powered by old Mitsubishi and Toyota engines.

Last year, renderings of a new SUV codenamed NHQ6480 were leaked onto the Internet. Yesterday, the first spy shots of what appears to be the production version of the vehicle.

This car will reportedly use the same 2.8L diesel engine also offered in their Explorer 6 SUV and possibly also a Mitsubishi gasoline engine.

The interior, which looks half decent from the picture shows a large screen for an infotainment system and automatic climate control. Behind the shift lever, there is a knob that appear to be the electronic controls for the SUVs four-wheel drive system.

More information about this car will come in the following months, and it will probably be listed by the end of this year.
