Ford F-150 Raptor Takes a Dive into a Swimming Pool and Traps 68-year Old Woman Inside (Video)
Nose dive just took an entirely different meaning

Ford F-150 Raptor is one extremely capable off-road pickup truck which can traverse any terrain. Except water, it would seem. Especially water enclosed by tight swimming pool’s walls. A sobering reality which one Raptor’s owner learned the hard way earlier this month.
At around 4:30 PM, on July 7, out of control Ford F-150 Raptor rolled downhill, smashed through a fence and nosedived into a backyard pool. Incident occurred in Allied Gardens, San Diego, California when 68-year old woman apparently lost control of the vehicle.
To make matters worse, pickup quickly turned sideways and sank, trapping the driver within. Who knows how the drama would have unfolded hadn’t there been for a brave male babysitter Gabriel Mejia who saw what happened and quickly jumped to the rescue. Mejia tried to break the window with a brick, but to no avail. In a desperate measure maneuver, he finally managed to break the window with his bare fist and then tore the glass away, sustaining numerous cuts in the process. Mejia pulled the unlucky woman through and held her head above the water until help arrived.
Woman escaped with a minor head injury, but was clearly shocked by the unfortunate incident. It’s still not disclosed what caused her to lose control of the truck. She likely forgot to pull the hand brake after parking it on a steep hill driveway. Mejia, on the other hand, is happy that everything ended up well. “Important thing is, she is OK. I’m happy. I’m so happy,” he said. Video below might clarify the situation for you.
