Published April 27, 2013
French president, François Hollande, is in China this week and has already received a promise by the new Chinese President Xin Jin Ping to import even more French products starting from this year, China also promised to buy more Airbus planes which is likely to be welcome news for French and British workers. The Chinese government really did roll out the carpet for President Hollande, he is the first foreign head of state to gain a ride in the new Hong Qi L9.
The L9 was created prior to Hu Jin Taos 2010 review of the troops in Beijing where he inspected the PLAs finest and from the open top roof of the presidential L9. The civilian version is going to be entering production soon and is expected to be on the market for around 5 million RMB later this year. Hollande has gained himself the first test drive, we hope that he can Tweet us (@chinacartimes) ASAP with his views.
