Great Wall may have come under a lot of attacks lately for its amazing ability to clone cars, but lets face it the Coolbear is sporting the design the Scion Xb should have been.

The Greatwall Motors Coolbear will come with a 1.5l Euro 5 engine mated to a manual gearbox, although they might launch an automatic version sometime in the future.

CCT has had a minor love affair with the Coolbear, ever since it was launched as a concept car in Beijing way back in 2006. Hopefully well be able to test drive one soon. Prices for the Coolbear have yet to be announced, certain websites say around 95,000RMB.

If we were in the market for a compact MPV, wed give the Coolbear a serious look over, the interior looks reasonable (although for 95,000rmb wed expect leather) but the lack of an automatic gearbox is a real blow. The Coolbear is sure to be a hit with the Coolbears and fashionistas in China, and abroad.
