Is Cervini’s Side Exhaust for 2015-2017 Mustang GT Too Expensive?
A Mustang side exhaust is a sweet mod. Is this one right for you?
Updated October 15, 2018
As the most popular sports car in the world, Ford Mustang GT won in a game everyone thought it’ll lose. This is why all the major tuners involve themselves into an interesting world of Mustang customization, crafting ever so more advanced and more radical features to install on the famed muscle car. The latest newcomer to the world of the Mustang is Cervini, who created a small but very impressive exhaust system. And it cost freaking 2 grand. Remember, Hennessey will ship you a mail order update for a tad more than $1,200. This increases the power of the Flat Plane Crank V8 by 35hp. Cervini won’t do it, but it will send you a magnificent piece of side exhaust and side skirts to replace the stock one of the 2015-2017 Ford Mustang GT.
Yes, it’ll fit on any Mustang GT out there. The Cervini Auto Designs will sell you an exhaust kit ready for the installation directly from the box. It features 3-inch stainless steel exhaust pipes, 3-inch Magnaflow mufflers, charcoal ceramic coated exhaust tips, textured matte black side skirts, and matte black rear exhaust covers.
Obviously, this Mustang side exhaust job will require a professional. In fact, this is not the first nor the last Mustang side exhaust kit. What makes the one from Cervini special is the quality of the work and materials used for the production. This is, more or less, a high-end side exhaust for the Mustang.
Of course, smash that play button, volume up the speakers and listen to the sound of the V8 amplified by the Cervini Exhaust. It is a massive improvement over the stock exhaust usually found on the Mustang GT.
Of course, a Mustang side exhaust isn’t for everyone, and even if you’re just experimenting, there are far cheaper options out there than Cervini’s ridiculous $2,000 pièce de résistance. Also, it looks like fallopian tubes. Not that that’s a problem, we just thought we’d point it out.
Maybe the sound of Cervini’s Mustang side exhaust is enough to make you want to buy it, and if so, you should most definitely do so. However, as we’ve already stated, there are much more cost-effective ways to modify your Mustang’s exhaust, so make extra-sure that this is an investment you’re ready to make.
