The Suzuki Alto has been sold in China under many different names and brands and not in an entirely legal fashion either. Jiangnan Auto was bought out by Zotye, a then aspiring SUV company that recently branched out into other models, they plan to resell the Jiangnan Alto for a mere 18,000rmb which is a significant cut under the current range of super mini cars such as the BYD F0 and QQ3 both of which cost around 28,000rmb to 35,000rmb for base models.

The 18,000rmb Alto is certainly basic, but at that price it is sure to gain consumers especially first time buyers that want a simple car to get about the village in.
