KIA Introduces a Full-Size SUV Concept Called the Telluride
This Is The “Telluride” KIA Full-Size SUV Concept!
Updated October 4, 2018
KIA introduced the Telluride concept at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. It is a very unique full-size seven passenger SUV that could potentially be positioned above the Sorento if it goes into production. The Telluride features a luxury class interior with third row seating. The never seen before design incorporates suicide doors that facilitate a very large access area without any obstructions.
The interior design is very modern incorporating several 3-D printed components such as the steering wheel, door panels, and the dashboard. The dash also features two large digital displays and a two-spoke multi-function steering wheel. One display is an infotainment system and the second display is the instrument panel verses traditional gauges. The Telluride also features an advanced touch-controlled climate control system.
The exterior has a boxy shape similar to previous KIA models; but the sloping roof-line and the rounded body panels give it a bolder representation. The unique suicide doors are definitely a creative addition to the SUV world that has never been attempted before. Enhanced lighting and other accents give the Telluride a very modern overall representation.
It will be interesting to see if the Telluride or something similar makes it to production.
