Leaked Patent Ferrari Animation Gives Us An Early Look At The LaFerrari Based Monster

Published March 1, 2017

Someone reported a massive radioactive cloud hovering or moving high above Europe. No one knows is it true, but if we are to judge it by this mutated LaFerrari patent image, it is. This is, however, mutation done right. Look at it in black and white and then scroll down to watch it in all its redness.

This picture actually leaked from the European patent office. Apparently, Ferrari filed this patent back in August 2016, but now’s the right time to publicize it. After all, the Geneva Motor Show is round the corner. We can only speculate on this one though. It can be one of those insane and crazy Ferrari one-off cars, or it just may be a patent which will never reach fruition. Either way, next couple of weeks will reveal more. Ferrari is known for its one-off works and special edition cars the latest of which was that J50 Limited Edition. But you have to remember that cool F12tdf-based SP275 RW Competizione. After all, they are the brainchild of the Ferrari Special Project division. They could do the same with the LaFerrari.

Now, some may say that this isn’t even based on the LaFerrari. Yet, the shape of the roof, sides and that massive wing things behind doors certainly show – it is a freaking F150 based monster. Could it be that Ferrari felt a bit threatened by the 2018 AM-RB 001 (Aston Martin and Redbull supercar), or that announced Mercedes-AMG Project One hypercar!? If they are, faster, lighter, more hardcore LaFerrari could be an answer.

On the other hand, imagine this – Maserati MC12 successor. The world would go crazy for a week if that happens. That’s however, a stretch. A big stretch.

Reasonably, this is a one-off SP built hypercar based on the LaFerrari. Someone very rich ordered it for a massive private collection.

About Safet Satara

I do not have spare time. All there is is car time. 12 years and counting. I am a Central European gearhead, but you are probably thinking - aaa a disposable Borg drone! Well, actually, I like to dress up like James Bond too. The only thing I need to be him is an Aston Martin (and I love DBS more than DB5 because, reasons). That's something I guess.
