Mazda 2 to be made in China
The funky little womans city car, the Mazda 2 is finally coming to China, and should be on the market by early 2008. Mazda will be making the Mazda via their joint venture agreement with Changan Motors, and are expected to make up to 160,000 Mazda 2?s per year. Mazda is aiming to sell over 300,000 vehicles in China before 2010, so they definitely have some high goals. In addition, the Chinese press are saying that Changan Mazda will produce three different kinds of Mazda 2 we predict these will be a regular gasoline, diesel and possibly a sports edition no word on pricing yet, but it will probably be about the same as a Ford Fiesta.
