MGTF – We’ll see you next week then.
Hold onto your hat, the MGTF is coming down the line next week according to Tom.com. The MGTF is surely going to make a splash on the Chinese mainland, and will most definitely make the other Chinese coupes look more awful than they already do.
So, on March 27th, on the anniversary of Nanjings opening the Nanjing MGTF and the MG7 will go into production. Nanjing MG also plan to put into production Nanjing MG5 and MG7 series at some point in the year.
Tom.com are saying that Nanjing MG are planning to sell 300,000 vehicles over the next 5 years. No word on pricing yet, but seeing as the imported UK made MGTF was only 260,000RMB we think the Nanjing made one should be cheaper, possibly cheaper than the imported, Korean made Hyundai coupe, 190,000rmb perhaps?
