New 2015 Cars: What to Expect?

Published June 19, 2013

Nobody likes waiting. When we want something, we want it now, especially when the object we want is a new sexy product; a product which has been a subject for mouthwatering and ad campaigns. Yes, we are talking about cars. Auto shows and new car’s debut give enthusiasts months, and sometimes even years to fantasize about when they can drive the car of their dreams. And yes, the longer a person waits – the more desirable the car becomes. Engineers and designers are already plotting the new 2015 cars. The big question is: will those cars look different from the cars we are driving now? The professionals and experts have different answers for this question, but if the last five or six years are any guide, then yes, we will witness some drastic changes.

New 2015 Cars: Audi A3

We decided to start this article with the car the majority of enthusiasts are waiting for: the 2015 Audi A3. The redesigned Audi A3 model serves as an entry point to this brand offered in three different varieties: 2015 Audi A3 Sedan – the highest-volume variant which is equipped with three different drive-train options; 2015 Audi S3 Sedan – a performance-tuned version; and 2015 Audi A3 Sportback E-Tron – a five door hatchback which is equipped with a hybrid power-train. All these new 2015 cars are designed according to the existing themes of Audi, and thus they are instantly recognizable. A wide range of sizes and aluminum wheel designs are offered. They have styling modifications which are appropriate for a sporting machine. The best feature is the park-assist system which automatically steers the car into perpendicular and parallel parking spaces.

New 2015 Cars: Land Rover Defender

Our second car on the new 2015 cars list is the 2015 Land Rover Defender. According to the company, this model will be as capable off-road as the original version, but less tractor-like. Due to the increasing European regulations, it is said that the old-school Defender will probably die in the next few years. Therefore, Land Rover really needs a good and credible replacement which defines the off-road heritage of this brand. As for the architecture of the next Defender, there is still no clear information. There are some speculations that it might be a little modified Evoque’s unibody version, but still, it is just a speculation. As for the power-train, a 5.0 liter V-8 option is quite possible for the American market, while the Europeans will be able to choose from a few diesel engines.

New 2015 Cars: Lotus Elise

And the last car from our new 2015 cars list is the 2015 Lotus Elise. There are rumors that this model will be powered by a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder engine that will deliver 330 NM of torque and 320 HP. The Elise is a fantastic vehicle, and the 2015 model will remain a class-leading car when it comes to efficiency and performance. The design will be truly perfect, especially for the target market; young, confident and strong – it will be an ideal combination of technology and engineering. The platform will be extremely unique, and according to many online reviews, more and more people show interest in this car. All in all, the 2015 Lotus Elise has lost none of its cheeky charm!
