Beijing are selling off their lovely collection of Olympic Audi A6L – L standing for Long, or Lengthened edition. The A6Ls were used primarily by high up Olympic officials during the Olympic period, and now that the Olympics and the Paralympics are nearly over, Beijing are keen to rid themselves of a few cars.
The cars, which total 888, are all 2.0 Turbo models, were used to escort state dignitaries, high up Olympic officials, Chinese state leaders, as well as foreign leaders and ambassadors. The original sales price of the Olympic Audi A6l 2.0l Turbo is 398,000rmb, but to wipe their hands clean of 888 cars, Beijing are ough we will keep CCT readers updated.
