Porsche Mechanic Totaled 911 During Unnecessary Test Drive (Video)
Will insurance cover the costs?

This Porsche 911 owner really did not have much luck. After leaving the car in a service shop for a fast repair and a diagnostic check, one of the service technicians decided to test drive the car and gave it quite a run in the process. However, nothing went as planned as driving fast on public roads certainly is not a smart option. In fact, exiting one corner and facing a collision with an ongoing car, the driver decided to evade it by turning a bit sharper. This did not help a bit as one side of the Porsche 911 hit the ongoing car. Of course, the Porsche spun and hit the curb damaging wheels, the suspension and everything else underneath. The crash was so severe, the car was declared a write-off.
All this was caught on the CCTV which made the case for the service technician even harder. We cannot imagine what the service shop boss had to tell him after such unnecessary hooray with the customer’s car.
The Mirror From The UK Revealed The Truth About Totaled Porsche 911
Now, the man who sent his Porsche for a repair definitely did not accept the news lightly. Yet, we are quite sure that the Porsche service center probably has some kind of insurance for this kind of unfortunate event. The owner should get an all new unit. Now, the description under the video on the YouTube states that a prospective buyer actually lost control of the car. However, according to The Mirror that is not the case as the car was actually driven by the mechanic who works for the service center.
All in all, one fine Porsche 911 has been lost for good.
