Range Rover Evoque Convertible Announced

Published January 11, 2016

Range Rover reveals a whole new concept to the brand by introducing the Evoque Convertible model. The Evoque was launched in 2010 bringing a whole new look to the SUV market and it has become one of Land Rover’s best-selling models over the years. In the spring of 2016 the all new convertible model will be hitting the street once again bringing a whole new concept to the SUV world. Convertible SUV’s are in very rare commodity and the concept was once only available in the Jeep lineup at one point; but not anymore!

The new innovative design adds several new features to the interior, exterior and incorporates new safety features as well.

The interior accents will vary based on the trim package that include the SE, the SE Premium, the HSE, the HSE Dynamic, and the elite Autobiography. The electronic options have been upgraded to include the Land Rover InControl Touch Pro system that features a 10.2 inch touch screen display on some models. It is the latest technology in the infotainment world that works in conjunction with the extremely advanced audio system.

Of Course; the main highlight of the exterior is the all-new convertible top that integrates a unique Z-folding feature that is all-new to the convertible arena. The roof can be opened or closed at speeds up to 29 MPH with the touch of a button. The roof system also incorporates a roll-over protection system that deploys two heavy-duty aluminum roll-over bars. The top still exhibits the original contour of the Evoque when it is in the closed position.

About Calvin Escobar

The Car scene is so diverse Where I come from, most enthusiasts recognize the amazing engineering (particularly the engines). The bulk of the ridicule originates from the manner in which many of the vehicles are modded/maintained. Thus, the jokes and or hate tends to be aimed more at the owner rather than the machine. All of which makes seeing properly sorted old Toyota's and Hondas at car meets, auto shows, and track days all the more refreshing.

At Autowise, we envision ourselves as not just a automobile blog or an automobile news website, instead we see our website as a platform to connect all automobile enthusiast and provide them with all the information they need.
