Silver-Wrapped Lamborghini Aventador Couldn’t Keep Up With The 911 Turbo S
Ostentatious Flame Throwing Silver and Gold Lambo In A Race
Published December 16, 2017
It is not like we haven’t seen the Lamborghini Aventador spitting flames before. I think that even some of their commercials from the time Lambo launched the car show that insane capability. Now, in a flamethrower shootout against the Porsche 911 Turbo S, the Lamborghini Aventador obviously wants to prove a point – it is the best flame-throwing machine out there.
But not the fastest anymore as this Porsche 911 Turbo S actually won in a drag race against the V12 machine from St. Agatha. That is, interestingly enough, besides the point in this video.
V12 Screams In A Drag Race Against The German Six Cylinder Aristocracy
Wearing ostentatious silver and gold-wrap, the Aventador obviously isn’t the one of the subtle kind. Porsche 911 Turbo S Feels like a freaking infant next to it despite being of the high-end Turbo S kind. With black details on the roof, mirror caps and wheels, the car most certainly feels and looks unlike any other Aventador we have seen. Inside, the only notable change we know of is the integration of the Capristo exhaust system. This definitely helped with flame-throwing talents every Aventador LP700-4 cherishes. Taking into account its astounding V12 with 700hp and 509 lb-ft of torque, the Aventador makes an extremely cool supercar. Honestly, with all the added make-up, I do not find it beautiful. It never was classy either, but this one seems like an overkill for sure.
As for the race, the Aventador should be more than able to match the last gen Turbo S. Watching closely, one may see that the driver of the Porsche Turbo S pushed the car to its absolute maximum launching right in time. Aventador stayed behind a few tenths of a second never being able to catch up.
All in all, a nice video to drool over some of the best cars ever.
