Updated October 4, 2018

The Chevy Silverado Realtree edition Z71 will hit showroom floors this spring. The Realtree concept was introduced at the 2015 SEMA show and it features a variety of camouflage accents inside and out. Realtree and Chevrolet put their heads together to design these unique trucks that will definitely attract outdoors-man and hunters. This special edition truck lineup commemorates a ten year relationship between Realtree and Chevrolet.

The new Silverado has received a whole new look in addition to the camouflage wrap options. The new Z71 has a much bolder representation then previous models. Several optional accessories will also be available such as the bed mounted roll-bar and light bar combination. The new graphics will be available in various patterns and most likely will not be limited to the 1500 Series. But, the ones that bare the Realtree special edition badge will be Z71 Silverado 1500 trucks. They will also incorporate unique interior accents such as camouflage trim and badged seats.

The Chevy Realtree edition will boast the most horsepower ever available in a light-duty pickup. The power plant will be a 6.2-liter V-8 with a direct injection system that generates approximately 420 horsepower. This powerful engine accommodates a towing capacity of 11,700 pounds.

Off-road accessories include under-body shielding, skid plates, and Rancho mono-tube shocks as standard features. Rugged low-profile all-terrain tires are mounted on custom 20-inch black spoked wheels. Hill Descent Control and locking differentials also enhance the capability and safety of off-road adventures.

The Car scene is so diverse Where I come from, most enthusiasts recognize the amazing engineering (particularly the engines). The bulk of the ridicule originates from the manner in which many of the vehicles are modded/maintained. Thus, the jokes and or hate tends to be aimed more at the owner rather than the machine. All of which makes seeing properly sorted old Toyota's and Hondas at car meets, auto shows, and track days all the more refreshing.

At Autowise, we envision ourselves as not just a automobile blog or an automobile news website, instead we see our website as a platform to connect all automobile enthusiast and provide them with all the information they need.
