The 2013 Chevy Malibu Turbo. A Swift Kick In The Pants.
Published September 21, 2012
It seems like Chevrolet has decided to make sure that their 2013 Chevy Malibu Turbo LT/LTZ will remain to be a name that rings bells for the next few years. The 2013 Chevy Malibu Turbo LT/LTZ will be released again later this year, but with a little more pep in it’s step. Apparently the engineers at Chevy found a way to not only boost the sales of the Malibu, but also boost the speed as well. The Malibu will come with a newly designed, and pretty powerful 2.0L, four(4) cylinder turbo-charged engine that’s boasting 259hp, and 260 pound feet of torque. Those type of numbers are not normally heard of in a domestic motor. After the initial test drive it was found the best RPM range to get the most out of this engine is between 1,700 through 5,500 RPM’s. The interior will basically remain the same, as in the other two Malibu models.
The 2013 Chevy Malibu Turbo LT/LTZ will come with a great price, that ensures some solid future sales. The Turbo Malibu is one of the LT models that Chevy has had going for quite some time now, and surprisingly the cost for a Turbo Malibu is very low. For a 2013 Chevy Malibu Turbo LT is going to run around $27,895, while the step LTZ model will be at $30,125 dollars. Like I said surprisingly low. For the time being the Malibu will be arriving in showrooms with the standard automatic transmission, but there’s a slight possibility, that some lucky driver could drive away with a manual version of this fantastic car.
