The 2013 Lexus LF-Ch. The Hot Hatch Hybrid.
Updated August 21, 2012
So, have you seen the Lexus commercials lately? The one where there are a bunch of Lexus cars driving in formation to form a DNA helix by the end of the commercial? Yes that one, well it seems like that commercial wasn’t the only place where a new concept was revealed.
Earlier this year at the Frankfurt Auto show, Lexus debuted a new concept that they are potentially going make into a production car. The 2013 Lexus LF-Ch Concept. As it stands the LF-Ch is a 3 door hot hatch that will compete directly with the BMW 1 Series, and other cars in that bracket. The 2013 LF-Ch is still in the works so to say, and the new news about it, is that it will be produced as a “Full Hybrid” car. Lexus hopes to infuse the European market with their entry of the 2013 LF-Ch.
It has been speculated that the power train will be capable of functioning in an “All EV Mode”, meaning that there will be some great hybrid tech going into this stunningly beautiful car. And speaking of good looks, the 2013 Lexus LF-Ch, is going to be a very curvaceous looking vehicle. Smooth lines help ease the eyes of all tension, as you follow the flow from the sculpted front fascia, to the heavily bolstered rear end. Crisp White LED’s that sit either side of the snake like fanged grille, make sure that anybody that stands in front the 2013 Lexus LF-Ch, will think twice about bad mouthing this sultry ride.
As for now Lexus is keeping the majority of the pertinent information under wraps, but rest assured, if Lexus is making a lot of noise about this car now, it’s pretty much a guarantee that we will see it on the road next year.
