Updated August 22, 2012
How many of you great readers out there know the name Raybestos? Raybestos is a company that has been around for over 80 years, and is still going strong. For those of you who don’t know what they do, there’s a simple answer to that. Raybestos has been involved in the brake business since 1902. They have building, and mastering the way brakes work on all cars, and trucks for a very long time now. So it’s safe to say that they know what they are doing behind the wheel.
Raybestos has decided to lend themselves to a few projects over the years. Mainly a 1964 Pontiac GTO, that has graced the cover of Hot Rod Magazine, and was the talk of the town during the 2011 SEMA show. They poured themselves into this project, by building the GTO from the ground up. The team at Raybestos worked on more than the brakes, for the GTO, they rebuilt the frame, the body was worked over as well. All of this to achieve a remarkably stunning classic 1964 Pontiac GTO. After all of this was said, and done the GTO was put through it’s paces on various courses, and race tracks all over the US. To this day the Raybestos GTO is still a hot, water cooler topic among men.
So why are we here today? What is so special about the Raybestos Team now, today? I’ll tell you what’s so hot about the Raybestos team, it starts with the letter M.
