The 2014 Jaguar F-Type. Big Changes for Deep Pockets.
Updated June 30, 2014
Jaguar is a name that is normally synonymous with class, elegance, history, and power. Now that name can become synonymous with another word, and that word would be, Bespoke. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the word bespoke, it simply means, to customize, or personalize something you own. Now you may be wondering where I’m exactly going with this, and here’s where.
The 2014 Jaguar F-Type will most likely be available in the mid to late 2013 market time frames, and for 2014, Jaguar has plans on making sure that their cars are more than simply competitive. The 2014 Jaguar F-Type line up will consist of three trim levels, that start at a modest $69,000 US dollars, and gradually increase to an astonishing $92,000 US dollars.
The base model is called the F-Type, and will allow a prestigious driver to feel the road with a hearty 3.0L, V6 motor that utilizes 340hp, to get anyone with a passion for driving on their way. The next trim level will be labeled the F-Type S, which entails a slightly more powerful version of the same V6. This time around the 3.0L motor has been tuned to push out 380hp to the rear wheels. This set up will definitely allow for some very spirited driving. Last, and certainly not least, there is the 2014 Jaguar F-Type V8 S. This beauty will not only excite your soul, but invigorate your senses from head to toe. Top of the line suspension, that’s linked to a lightened chassis, and brilliant wheel, and tire package, which in turn does everything it’s needs, to keep your heart beating, way above normal. This trim level comes with a supercharged 5.0L V8, that boasts 495hp to the rear wheels.
These trims are what Jaguar needed to once again compete with the likes of the Porsche Boxter, and then continue the fight up the ladder to it’s older brother the 911. Now as I mentioned earlier, the word bespoke will become a new part of the Jaguar library, and for the 2014 F-Type group , customizing will basically be step one when you consider purchasing a new Jaguar. Anything from leather trims, to Aluminum pieces, to sleek new Carbon Fiber trim pieces that will accent the smooth lines of this great looking vehicle will be readily available for purchase.
For the most part Jaguar is hoping that their 2014 Jaguar F-Type Configurator will entice buyers to play around with the many options that Jaguar is constantly adding to. If anything, the CEO’s at Jaguar are hoping that potential buyers will come into dealerships with multiple print out screens for their new F-Type. Jaguar is soo up to the challenge of fulfilling somebody’s dream of getting their next dream car.
