The Lamborghini Espada V12 Motorcycle – by Chuck Beck
This is what a Lamborghini V12 motorcycle looks like!

We’ve seen all kinds of weird car-engined motorcycles in the past, but this awesome Lamborghini Espada V12 motorcycle from Chuck Beck is fast becoming our favorite. From what we can gather, it seems like Chuck is a meticulous car mechanic by day, who decided to build a motorcycle to accommodate a Lamborghini engine that he’d had laying around for around 25 – 30 years. And this is the result.
According to the video, Chuck describes his bizarre machine as “an example of why people shouldn’t drink,” but we think he’s doing himself a disservice. Sure, it was an ambitious project, but it seems to have worked out wonderfully. While the huge V12 engine definitely steals the show, Chuck’s bike also boasts a VW Type 3 Transaxle, rear mounted radiators, and some stunning bodywork. Performance-wise, Chuck states that “it’s not geared to go real fast, only about 140 mph.” Which is plenty. However, he does admit that it’s a little heavy and cumbersome at low speeds, but once she’s going, she handles pretty well.
To make life easier, Chuck has also engineered in a reverse gear, and a very cool “automatic” style center stand, which you can see in action in the video below.
So there you have it. Now, you know that old engine you’ve got rotting away in your garage? If you’ve been looking for a touch of motivation to get your big project started, take Chuck as inspiration. It’s been a labor of love, but it has definitely paid off. It’s an unusual machine, but unusual is good…
