The Last Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X Concept Ever

Is This The Last Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X Concept Of All Time?

Updated September 26, 2018

The legend of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X is finally coming to an end. One of the most sought after, most customizable tuning cars has announced its grand finale. The last ever Lancer Evo X will be a heavily modified beast of a machine. We have just got a glimpse of it at the most recent Tokyo auto show. Here’s what we saw:

The last ever Exo X will AWD, of course, and will come packed with after market components from the most famous Japanese aftermarket modifiers. HKS has upgraded the turbo, the intake, exhaust, fuel management system and ECU software. In the end, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X – Final Concept 5 will have produce an astonishing 473 hp, yea, that’s only 182 more HP than the stock version.

HKS also hooked the Lancer Evo X up with a Hipermax Max4 SP adjustable suspension coil-overs, and those bad-ass wheels come from Volk Racing, 19 inch rims with Yokohama Advan tires.

We spotted the Lancer with a matte black finish paint job with matte grey paint along the bottom with the words “Concept FINAL”. We are still not sure if this will be the exact product being sold, or if there will be other paint schemes and options. Hell, we don’t even know when the Lancer Evo X will go on sale in Japan, let alone in the US! Right now, the only thing we know for certain is that there is at least one of these in existence, and its currently on a farewell tour in Japan, making the runs on the auto show market. I’m sure we will see it in the Vegas, LA and NYC auto shows sometime this year, and hopefully in at least a few show rooms!

I’m hearing that the Lancer Exo X will soon be replaced with some type of hybrid crossover car. Sounds, ummm, exciting…. Maybe it will have a turbo?
