Is Tom Brady the world’s biggest winner or loser? It depends what you’re referring to. Sure, he hasn’t been successful in recent years with the Super Bowl, but he does have 14 AFC East division titles under his belt. He’s also worth about $150 million and married to the Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen. We don’t know too many mothers that look as great as she does. Aside from the beautiful wife and plenty of money to roll around in, there’s also quite an extensive Tom Brady car collection we’ve witnessed over the past few years. Let’s take a deeper look at Tom Brady’s car and see what this winner likes to drive.
2004 Cadillac Escalade ESV
At the time, Cadillac sponsored the MVP car giveaway and Brady was just a rookie. Even though he was making good money, cars weren’t part of his image yet. That’s what makes this Escalade one of the best cars he had owned up until then.
The V8 in this SUV provided plenty of power, but it had terrible gas mileage. At just 13 mpg city, it wasn’t the best car to drive around city streets. The Escalade also offers a comfortable ride, nimble handling, lots of cargo space, and plenty of tech gadgets. In addition, it had the best-in-class towing capacity. This luxury SUV was worth about $70,000 and came at a high-point in Brady’s career.
2010 Lexus GS 450H
In 2010, Tom and Gisele drove around without drawing insane amounts of attention to themselves. This hybrid Lexus GS 450 offered up a strong performance, stylish fit, and an insanely quiet cabin. This mid-size hybrid luxury sports sedan offered up the performance of a V8 with the fuel economy of a V6. The gas savings was a nice step after that Escalade we reviewed earlier.
With that in mind, this car pales when compared to some of the more exciting options in his lineup. It probably cost about $57,000 and looks nothing like the lavish, exotic cars Tom is into nowadays.
2013 Cadillac Escalade Hybrid
Unlike the Lexus above, Cadillacs are meant to show off. Young, hip professionals drive Escalades, just like Tom and Gisele. However, we speculate that Gisele had more to do with this purchase than Tom. We take that position because it’s an SUV (which she loves) and a hybrid.
This luxury SUV was all about family while remaining ostentatious. Tom and Gisele were clearly more interested in being noticed then they ever were before. 2013 was the final year of the hybrid model from Cadillac, but it did offer a 6.0-liter V8 engine and 332 horsepower. The only thing we can’t figure out is why didn’t Tom customize the Escalade as Beckham did with his?
Want to hear a funny story? In 2008, Eli Manning won the Escalade Hybrid for being the MVP. Do you know who they beat? That’s right; the undefeated Patriots. It was, to date, one of the biggest upsets in football history. Do you think every time Tom sat in his Escalade Hybrid he thought about that day?
2011 Range Rover
This mid-sized SUV wasn’t just great to look at but also reliable and safe. That’s why they chose it to run their three kids around. While most people don’t invest in a 100,000 SUV, this is just pocket change to Gisele and Tom. With 28 highway mpg, this is one of the most fuel-efficient vehicles in the Tom Brady car collection.
2009 Audi R8
This R8 goes from 0 to 60 mph in just three seconds, so it’s something Tom clearly picked and not Gisele. This all-wheel-drive vehicle has been around since 2006 and was actually the first production vehicle that featured full-LED headlamps. The design came from the Audi Le Mans Quattro concept during the Geneva Motor Show in 2003.
Tom’s car cost about 165K and had a 5.2-liter V10 engine which produced 428 horsepower. It was constructed with carbon composite and aluminum space frame. Even though this is one of his milder sports cars, it is still quite beastly.
2017 Aston Martin DB11
What’s crazy though is that the film crew did his shot right in his driveway. That tells you several things. First of all, his house is luxurious enough that the brand didn’t mind using it. Seconds, it shows you what kind of power Tom has over people that he can make them bring the shoot to him. Aston Martin must have agreed that it would be the perfect location because they had no issue with it.
On top of that, Brady received his DB11 just for working with Aston Martin. In addition, he was able to design a Vanquish S, which the company built as a limited edition model. There were only 12 made and shipped in 2018, so we think Tom’s done pretty well for himself.
2015 Ferrari M458-T
Another thing that helps it stand out on the streets is this Ferrari red color. Of course, Tom seems to prefer red or black, and not much else. Brady is a five-time Champion QB club but he’s also a member of the Ferrari Club. Which one do you think is more important to him?
Back to the car – his Ferrari is a beast. This 4.5-liter F136 F V8 engine produces 562 horsepower and features a mid-engine design. It had a top speed of 210 mph and was eventually replaced by the company’s 488. In 2015, the MSRP was $239,340 for a standard two-door coupe or almost 300k for the Coupe Speciale.
2018 Limited Edition TB12 Aston Martin Vanquish S Volante
What might blow your mind is that the MSRP on this car was $359,950. What we don’t know is if the vehicle was given to Tom or he had to buy it. Either way, it’s a stunning beauty but we can’t help to wonder if someone else could have made a better spokesperson for the company.
Let’s face it; Tom Brady might have played some good football games, but he’s no James Bond. Somehow the company shifted who they are targeting with their advertising. Of course, the TB12 stands for Tom Brady and the number of his jersey, which is also why they only produced 12, in case you didn’t figure that out already.
Getting down to the important details of the car, it came with a 5.9-liter V12 and produced 595 horsepower while featuring a top speed of 201 mph. That allowed it to reach 60 mph in 3.5 seconds. Not too shabby.
2015 Rolls Royce Ghost
The best part about this car is that it’s often photographed with them and their kids in town. We aren’t sure we’ve even seen a Rolls with car seats, but it’s an interesting thought. Considering what most kids do to the interior of cars, it makes us a little nervous what’s happened to this beauty. How many times do you think the sippy cups have been spilled? Does Tom get mad when it happens; we can only speculate.
This is the second-most expensive vehicle in the Tom Brady car collection. However, when you compare it to the top, it only cost a quarter of the price. This one ran about 400k and is one of the couple’s favorite to head out in.
Bugatti Veyron Super Sport
Did you realize that Bugatti only produced about 450 of these in a ten year period? Tom Brady joins the ranks of other prestigious owners with this car, including Tom Cruise, Jay-Z, and Simon Cowell.
Other Cars that Should be in the Tom Brady Car Collection
While researching the Tom Brady car collection, we’ve picked out some other vehicles that we feel would make a great addition to his arsenal.
Here are our favorite options:
Chevy Corvette Z06 Convertible – Did anyone else notice the lack of American cars in the collection? We think he needs an iconic convertible from Chevy to complete his garage.
Tesla Model S – Considering Tom likes a few hybrid cars now and then, this would fit in nicely. We also think it would be a better way to tote the family around than a Rolls-Royce. Plus, it only costs $120,000 or less and the high-performance model has more than 600 horsepower.
Ford F-150 – Doesn’t anyone else think Tom looks like the truck type? Considering it’s the most popular in America is only seems fitting that we see him driving one.
Bentley Continental GT – This car costs just 200k and features a 6.0-liter W12 engine that produces 626 horsepower. With its top speed of 207 mph, it makes sense that it would be on his radar.
If You Have the Money
When you have as much money as Tom Brady, you can buy whatever you wish. He and Gisele have made some practical decisions along the way; more than most people as influential as them. On the other hand, they’ve also indulged in some high-powered monsters as well. It will be interesting to see what gets added next to the Tom Brady car collection.
