Volvo V70 Tank Conversion Is A Thing And It Is Cheap
Probably a cheap, but cool marketing ploy

I did not expect this – a Volvo V70 converted into a tank. True, some may say that history proved Volvo cars are more like tanks than cars, but then again, this owner literally converted the thing.
Not many information is available about the contraption, but from what I found on google, this particular Volvo V70 Tank is, in fact, a promotional piece for a used car dealership somewhere in the UK. After all, it does have UK license plates although the car was filmed on a highway in Switzerland.
Not many details can be seen, but those that can are certainly cool. Note the cool round openings which enable the driver and the passengers to open the doors and access the vehicle. The cutouts are made on the side protection guards which span from the front to the back. They even have a dummy track wheels certainly making the car look more tank-like.
Look at that gun turret On The Volvo V70
I won’t beat around the bush anymore. Look at that turret on top of the roof. It is an ingenious piece of design. The gun turret has been made using a roof cargo carrier. It was painted in camouflage military finish and some kind of tank gun tube was added. It looks like a win for sure.
Other military grade features include an awesome protective mesh on the side back windows and blackened part of the rear windshield.
Obviously, a car like this had to pass some sort of inspection before getting the license to go to the roads. We guess it will serve as a promotional piece and become some sort of an icon for the dealership.
Would you do this to your car?
