X Performance Pack Makes The “Poor Man” 500 hp Rezvani Beast Look Like An X-Rated 700hp Version
Published March 19, 2016
Like it already was not crazy enough, gearheads that work in Rezvani created a whole new aerodynamic package for the Rezvani Beast X and called it the Performance package. This way, the fascinatingly cool Rezvani Beast X is a tad more special, more expensive and a bit nicer to look at.
We presented the Rezvani Beast here and the Rezvani Beast X here, so there is nothing new about the fundamental components such as the engine, transmission and suspension. The car is still built around a lightweight Ariel Atom frame and continues with a Honda sourced 2.4L turbocharged 500hp engine or a 2.4L twin turbocharged 700hp mill. It’s a sick car obviously when you take into account that it weighs 1650 lbs in total.
The new version was revealed at the Amelia Island Festivals of Speed in Florida – right where enthusiasts with enough money tend to lurk around. Novelties included revised air ducts, front spoiler, side skirts, split rear wing and steering wheel. As expected, every single piece is made from carbon fiber in order to keep the weight down as much as possible. What is interesting is that the X Performance package is actually available for all Resvanis ever built and sold. The kit can be purchased as a whole or buyers can opt for individual pieces. Either way, the elements fit every Beast ever produced.
While we do not have a clue about the price of the kit, we do know that a “normal” 500hp Beast goes for $150.000 to $200.000. The X version goes up to $325.000 and the kit basically provides you with pieces that will make the lesser version look like a $325.000 worth car.
