You Won’t Believe How Much the Next Bugatti Model Will Cost!

Now that the Bugatti Veyron has been put to rest after nearly a decade of production success, the coming 2016 Bugatti Chiron is the object of much speculation. While there has yet to be any “official” word on the Veyron’s successor, which is ostensibly being tweaked to perfection for next year, Volkswagen has reportedly previewed the Chiron to an elite group in Molsheim, resulting in some juicy tidbits being leaked.
We have a concept rendering of the most basic version of the 2016 Bugatti Chiron, which appears have the brand’s classic aerodynamic and almost futuristic styling with some new edgy additions. This preview alone is worth some chatter among enthusiasts, but it’s the price tag attached that has really caused tongues to wag. The rumored starting price for the basic Chiron is around $2.5 million, with extra features and sportier versions like a roadster being even higher.
For that kind of dough, you’d expect something pretty spectacular. While any specs are hearsay and possibly total poppycock, some of those who were in attendance at the ultra-exclusive Bugatti Chiron preview event say the manufacturer’s marketing team promises this new model will vastly outperform the Porsche 918 Spyder, McLaren P1, and LaFerrari. The Chiron is also supposed to be a hybrid capable of putting out a whopping 1,500 HP from its W16 engine. If any of this has piqued your interest and you have a few million dollars to spare, you might want to get a pre-order in because another rumor is that only 500 units of the Bugatti Chiron will be produced.
