ZIFE Design Go Futuristic And Re-invent The Honda CBR600RR!
Vietnam’s ZIFE Design Take The Honda CBR600RR To The Next Level
Updated August 21, 2018
Got a Honda CBR600RR that needs a bit of excitement injected into it? Look no further, because ZIFE Design have got you covered. This bike isn’t for sale, and there won’t be any parts or a kit on offer, but for pure unadulterated inspiration, we’ve got a stunning gallery of this bad boy for you to feast your eyes on. It’s not often that modern custom shops turn their wrenches over on a modern super sport, but when they do, the result is sensational. This is ZIFE Design at their best – and we love it.
It might not be as sporty as it used to be in its original form but there’s something quite appealing about this CBR. It’s no longer a tool for the track, but it’s more practical in ways that regular custom motorcycles are not. For a start, it looks comfortable. It looks like it could comfortable carry a passenger, and you know what, we reckon it’s probably up to the task of scoring impressive lap times and munching miles along the Ho Chi Minh trail in equal measure. And that’s without even considering the look if the thing.
The Honda CBR600RR Of The Future
It’s no longer a run of the mill CBR. If you’re looking for a dash or individuality or something completely original, call ZIFE Design, because they seem to know what they’re doing. And they should. Unlike a lot of modern custom builders that can simply buy some tools and an already well-maintained motorcycle to play with, it’s not so simple in Asia. Thanks to strict capacity limits and criminally high import taxes, most South East Asian garages have to learn their craft on small machines, often without access to factory approved parts, or even high-quality tooling.
After years of rebuilding and customizing small capacity Suzuki machines, like the GN125 and GN250 (still two of our favorite small motorcycles out there) ZIFE began to make a name for themselves. Now, they’re customizing big bikes like this CBR, BMWs, Ducatis and a whole lot more. If that wasn’t enough, they’re getting a decent following on an international level. So, if you’re looking for a special team to work on your next project, you should look ‘em up.
Not only can they create the bike of your dreams, but we reckon they could also remove, repair and reinstall an inner tube in about 30 seconds too. Those are the kind of guys you want on your team…
