1967 Ford Mustang Fastback Receives a Modern Interior Makeover

67 Fastback will never go out of style

The folks at Carlex Design Europe have given the interior of this classic 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback a completely new look. When the 67 Ford Mustang rolled off the showroom floor back in the day it was considered to have a very basic interior design. The main focus was directed towards the sleek exterior design along with what was under the hood.

Carlex design took the interior of this classic pony to a whole new level by incorporating some modern upgrades. Everyone loves carbon fiber and this interior has custom carbon fiber panels throughout. The door panels, dash inserts and the rear seat panels are just a few examples of the various carbon fiber upgrades made to the inside of this Mustang. One upgrade appears to be a little awkward and that is the carbon fiber panel with extra gauges mounted to the A-pillar.

Born with basic vinyl seats, this unique fastback is now sporting a new luxurious leather interior. Black nubuck leather is one of the main features of the new design and the slightly distressed appearance fits in well. The headliner has also received a complete leather makeover.

Silver and chrome accents were added as well to provide some contrast and brighten things up a bit.

Once again, as always, Carlex Design Europe rolls another one-of-a-kind Mustang interior upgrade out the door.

About Chris Riley

I have been wrecking cars for as long as I've been driving them, but I keep coming back for more. Two wheels or four, I'm all in. I founded GearHeads.org and then built and ran AutoWise.com until selling it to Lola Digital Media in 2020. I look forward to watching AutoWise grow as part of the AllGear group.
