1968 Dodge Charger SRT10 Viper V-10

Not too many 68 Chargers like this one

The 1968 Dodge Charger

The 2nd Gen (68-70) Dodge Charger has always been one of my all time favorite muscle cars. The design of the car just oozes power and sleekness. Even though a stock Charger is like driving a battleship placed on top of an ironing board placed on top of skateboards, this 1968 Dodge Charger SRT10 is updated from stem to stern.

Classic Looks – Modern Guts

Well today, we have the ability to have the best of both worlds. With modern and powerful EFI engines, multi-piston calipers brakes and suspension trickled down from modern F1 cars. These resto-mods are not only stunning but fast and handle! Take the culmination of classic looks and power, and you’re left with a true masterpiece on and off the track.

1968 Dodge Charger SRT10

This 1968 Dodge Charger SRT10 takes the 2nd Gen Dodge Viper 8.0L and with a little massaging get 527 HP and 555 Ft. Lb Torque. The result is an all-motor powerhouse that easily pushes this Charger down the road in style and speed.

As you see in the video, a host of subtle yet custom options have been added to this 1968 Dodge Charger SRT10. From the classic gunmetal 5-spokes with the deep dished rear wheels to the large Wilwood brakes. You will notice that the Charger stays nice and planted to the road during rapid acceleration and road bumps thanks to the updated suspension components. All in all, this is one hell of a custom. Kudos to the owner, you lucky SOB,

About Uriah Nazario

If you are easily offended and like to comment about how your feelings are hurt then you won't like my style of writing. I speak my mind (which is deranged) and yes it is often offensive. I am open for debate but not whining. I appreciate all my readers and hope my articles put a smile on your face.
